100 Year Old Beech Trees And Eagle Nests Destroyed Spring 2012 In Wayne County

To most of us who live on the lake, Eagles are special. To supporters of higher water levels, they are expendable.
In the Spring of 2012 (at levels much lower that predicted under BV7 or 2014) over 70, century old beech trees, some containing eagle nests, were destroyed by high water, wind and waves.

True environmentalism, DOES NOT sacrifice one species at the expense of another and then call it success!!
